FINAL PURE DATA CODE
This was the code that would allow me to play all four of the drum samples through each of the pressure sensors.

DRUM SAMPLES IN PURE DATA
With help from my tutor we found a way to connect the Arduino testing code within pure data to the code I constructed to play the sample sounds i got from my Fruity loops Library.
The piece of code we used was a object called Moses. This meant i could tell the bang for the drum sound to trigger once the Moses received more than a certain amount of resistance.
This is the final code that allowed me to play the drum sample once with every click of the bang. (exactly what i needed)
This use of the moses was to connect the arduino test to the bang of the drum sample. Meaning i could communicate with pure data through each of the analog ports.

TESTING SENSORS
After my sensors arrived i decided to put them through a test.
I connected them to a Led light so that when the sensors were pressed they lit up the Led. This in the final product will tell me if the sensors are still connected to the circuit and if the circut is still in tact.

ANALOG FIRMATA
I needed to upload the basic analog firmata code to the pro mini so that when I connect it via bluetooth to my computer, pure data will be able to communicate with it.

RESOLVING WIRES
A large obstacle I am to face is the problem of cables. For my first prototype i will aim to connect the shoe directly to the computer through the arduino's usb outlet.
I will need to look for another option to connect the other shoe to the computer.
I could look for a smaller arduino (perhaps a pro mini) that could fit inside the shoe and connect it via bluetooth to my computer.

FIRST EXPERIMENT
I set up an interface where I could load a sound into pure data and play it.
The problem with this particular code was that the sound keeps replaying once it is loaded. To be able to connect my arduino to this piece of code i will need the sound of the drum kit to play once with a bang so that i can trigger it with hardware.

EXPERIMENTING
I have chosen to go with the idea I have outlined in proposal 2 which i labeled the "Kitkicks". I plan to make this idea interactive through using a program called Pure Data. Here I will be able to set up a connection through my Arduino board with the program and by interacting with physical hardware I will be able to play sounds off my computer through Pure data.

Updated list
After a visit to jaycarr I found it would be too expensive to make the light board out of RGB LEDs. Therefore i am just going to use the bright LEDs that came inside the Solar garden lights and add a bit of code to make them fade and out quickly for a pulsing effect.

Project Re-evaluation
I have come to the conclusion that the Lazer Tag TV B gone that I have been making did not serve as it's own innovative and interactive object but rather just the original TV B gone inside the shell of a lazer tag gun.
Therefore I have reverted back to an idea in my original project proposal where I would use a series of garden lights to make a panel that would light up depending on the position of an infrared transmitter.

Battery Pack
I will aim to make use of the battery pack that is already in the Lazer Tag gun instead of using the smaller separate one that I have.
Power Switch
Changing the Interface
I will need to substitute the trigger in the Lazer Tag gun for the switch that I have used on the bread board to activate the IR LEDs.
Making it Portable
By connecting a battery pack to the bread board directly I will be able to use the TV B Gone without having to have it attached to the USB port of a computer.
Working Prototype of the TV B GONE
Here is a working prototype that i have added more IR LEDs to to increase the range at which i can turn off a TV. The previous Prototype worked at a range of up to 2 meters but now with three IR LEDS the range has double to four meters. I will continue developing the range of the prototype.

With more research I discovered an easier way to complete the circuit with the use of the Transistors.

Here is a Schematic view of a circuit layout that i found on the net. It uses an IR LED and a transistor. I will start my project by making this circuit using my Arduino board. The hardware i will need to acquire are as follows.
